You should fully charge your new phone before you begin using it. To start, slide the battery into the back of your phone and lock it in place. Then plug in your phone and charge your battery for 24 hours.

Just follow the instructions below to self-activate your CREDO Mobile phone.

1. Turn on your new phone by holding down the End key (usually red) for 3 seconds.
2. On your phone, go to the main menu. Select the Tools icon, press OK. Go to Activate, press OK.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your new phone. After each entry or selection, highlight Next or Done, then press OK. When you see your new phone number, write it down for future reference. On the final screen, select Done to complete your activation.

For new numbers, activation may take up to 4 hours to complete. If you are transferring a number from another carrier, this process may take up to 24 hours. If your phone still isn't working after 24 hours, please call customer service at 800.411.0848.

1. To turn your phone on, press and hold the red power button. Wait for the screen to light up. Now you're ready.
2. Enter the 7-digit or 10-digit number you want to call.
3. Your phone has a green ”talk“ key. Press it to dial your number.

to change from grid to list view

1. From the main menu, press Options (right softkey).
2. Highlight List View.
3. Press Menu/OK.

to change font size

The Sanyo 3810 allows you to adjust your font size from normal to large.

1. From the main menu, press Options (right softkey).
2. Highlight Large Font.
3. Press Menu/OK.

To download ringtones, screen savers, games and apps:

1. From your phone’s main menu, scroll and select the My Stuff icon.
2. Select Games, Ringers (ringtones), Screen Savers or Applications.
3. Select the Get New button. Your phone’s Internet browser will launch (charges may apply for data usage) and take you to the download menu.
4. Use your phone‘s arrow keys to highlight and select item(s) you want to buy. Search for downloadable content in three ways:
   • Featured: Sample of most popular and most recent content.
   • Categories: Groups of content, sorted by type.
   • Search: Browse for specific content.
5. Select Buy. “Download in progress” appears. Final notification will be sent to your phone once the purchase process is complete.
6. To begin using your new content right away or to continue shopping, follow the prompts on your phone’s screen.

1. Press the Menu/OK key.
2. Select Messages.
3. Select Send Message.
4. Select Text Message. The Recent List will display.
5. Select the recipient from the Recent List or Go to Contacts.
6. Use the keypad to compose a message.
7. To select a preset message, press Options (right softkey) and select Add Preset Message. Select your message and press Menu/OK.
8. To enter a symbol that does not appear on your keypad, press Options (right softkey) and select Text Mode. Then select Symbol or Smileys. On the Symbols or Smileys page, navigate to highlight the symbol you want and then press the Menu/OK key to select it.
9. Press Send.

1. Press and hold the Camera key or the side camera key to activate camera mode.
2. Point the camera lens at the photo subject.
3. Press the Menu/OK, Capture or the Camera key again to take a photo. The picture is automatically saved, and it is displayed in the viewfinder.
4. Press Options (right softkey) to see the camera options:
   • To delete the photo and return to the active viewfinder, select Delete.
   • To send the photo, select Send Media.
   • To edit the picture or display details about the picture, select Details/Edit.
