Transfer contacts from a Sanyo Katana LX to your new LG Optimus S.

You can transfer contacts from your Sanyo Katana LX to your new LG Optimus S using Bluetooth. While there are a number of steps, the whole process should take no more than 5 or 10 minutes. Just follow the instructions below, switching back and forth between the two phones as indicated.

1. From your home screen, press Sanyo Katana OK button.  
2. Select Settings.  
3. Select Bluetooth.  
4. If On is displayed under On/Off, skip the next step. If Off is displayed, select On/Off.  
5. Highlight On and press Sanyo Katana OK button to return to the BT Settings screen.  
6. Select Trusted List.  
  7. Press android home icon.
  8. Press android menu icon.
  9. Tap Settings.
  10. Tap Wireless & networks.
  11. Tap Bluetooth if it’s currently unchecked and wait until the checkmark appears.
  12. Tap Bluetooth settings.
  13.Tap Discoverable. (Note: You’ll have 2 minutes to complete the next 5 steps. If it times out before your phones get paired, start over from here.)
14. Select <Add New>.  
15. Select LG LS670.  
16. When asked to enter a PIN code, enter 0000 and press Sanyo Katana OK button.  
  17. When asked for the PIN, tap the text field and enter 0000. (Note: Tap and hold the “B” key to get a “0”.)
  18. Tap Done then OK.
19. On the Edit Name screen, select OK (left soft key).  
20. Select Transfer.  
21. Select Contacts.  
22. Select All.  
23. Select Send (left soft key).  
  24. Tap Accept and wait for the contacts to transfer. (Note: If it times out before you accept, select Retry on your Katana.)
  25. Press android home icon.
  26. Tap Contacts.
  27. Press android menu icon.
  28. Tap Import/Export.
  29. Tap Import from SD card.
  30. Tap Import all vCard files then OK.
