- Enter a phone number using the phone keypad. (The number will appear just above the keypad as you enter it. Tap
to delete any mistakes.)
- Tap .
- Tap End call when you want to hang up.
Touch and drag 
to the right to answer an incoming call.
When you're on a call, call waiting alerts you to incoming calls by beeping. The screen will let you know that another call is coming in and displays the caller's phone number if it's available.
To respond to an incoming call while you're on a call:
Touch and drag to the right to accept the call and put the first call on hold.

Touch and drag 
to the left to send the call to voicemail.
To switch between callers:
Tap Swap at the bottom left of your screen.
To end the current call and return to the first call:
Tap End call.
You can search your contacts by name.
- Press > Contacts
.
- Tap the Search contacts field at the top of the screen, and then enter the first letter or letters of a name. All contacts matching the entered letters will be displayed. The more letters you enter, the more specific the search.
- Tap a contact to display its details.
- Press > Contacts .
- Tap
at the top of the screen.
- If asked, choose where you'd like to save the contact. Tap any field and use the keyboard to enter the name, phone number and other contact details.
- To change the Phone, Email or IM type, tap Home (or Google Talk for IM) and select a new option from the list.
- Tap the photo box next to the name to add a photo if you'd like.
- To save the contact, tap Save.
