The Basics
- Press

- Enter a phone number using the phone keypad. (If you make a mistake while dialing, tap to erase the numbers.)
- Tap

when you are finished.
- Make sure your phone is on. (If it's off, incoming calls go to voicemail.)

Drag the picture ID (or Android icon) to the top of the screen if the screen is locked.
- OR -
Touch 
if the screen is unlocked.
You can search for entries by name in Contacts.
- On the home screen, slide up the All Programs icon (
) > Contacts.
- Press
- Enter the first letter or letters of an entry. (The more letters you enter, the more specific the search.) All Contacts entries matching the entered letters will be displayed.
- To display the contact details, tap an entry from the list.
- Press
> Slide up the All Programs icon () > Contacts > Make sure the Contacts tab is selected > 
> New contact
- Tap any field to launch the keyboard, and enter the name, phone number, e-mail and other contact details.
- To add more fields, tap the Add field button. To remove a field, tap the Remove field button.
- To change the field label, tap the Field label button and tap an available option.
- Scroll up or down to move through the contact fields.
- To save a contact, tap Done.
