Email & Address Book
Your phone's Email application lets you access and manage multiple email accounts simultaneously in one convenient location.
- Press
> Slide up the All Programs icon (
) > Email.
- Tap the Email address field and type your email address.
- Tap the Password field and type your password.
- Tap Next to continue. The phone will try to automatically retrieve email settings.
- Enter your name and tap Done.
- From within the Email application, press
> Accounts.
- Press and tap Add account.
- Tap the Email address field and type your email address.
- Tap the Password field and type your password.
- Tap Next to continue. The phone will try to automatically retrieve email settings.
- Enter your name and tap Done.
Gmail is Google's web-based email service. You can wirelessly synchronize your Gmail account on your device with your Gmail account's contacts, calendar and email.
Note: Once you log in with your Gmail account, you will not be able to remove it unless you perform a factory reset on your phone.
- Press > Slide up the All Programs icon () > Gmail.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to set up Gmail.
Exchange ActiveSync is usually used to wirelessly sync corporate email, contacts and calendars wirelessly. To set it up, your IT department must provide you with access to and settings for their Exchange server. You must have your Exchange Server's server address, SSL settings, domain, username and password to connect.
Note: Not all companies provide Exchange ActiveSync access. Without your IT department's settings, CREDO Mobile technical support will not be able to assist you in configuring Exchange ActiveSync.
- Press > Slide up the All Programs icon () > Exchange Email.
- Read through the License Agreement. If you accept, tap I Accept.
- Tap Configure your Account.
- Enter your Exchange server's email address and password. Tap Try AutoDiscovery.
- If Try AutoDiscovery fails, then you will need to tap Next and enter all of your Exchange account information.
- Complete the rest of the setup processes.
