Activation issues

If you just activated your phone and it's not working, this quick process will fix most connection problems.

  1. Turn off your phone by holding the power button for a few seconds.
  2. After your phone turns off completely, wait about 30 seconds and then turn your phone back on by holding down the power button for a few seconds.
  3. Once the phone is back on, test your voice connection by calling 888-281-2461. You should hear a short recorded message if your phone is working properly.

If the call doesn't go through, your phone may not have activated properly. Dial ##228# to launch the activation process again. When that finishes, test your voice connection again by calling 888-281-2461.

Plan to send picture messages or access the web from your phone? You can test your data connection by pressing the Menu/OK key and selecting Web. If the CREDO page loads, your data connection is working. Please note: If you don't have a data plan, testing your data connection will cost a small amount of money. Data costs $1.99/MB, and your total monthly usage will be rounded up to the next full MB.
