Troubleshooting

Activation issues

If you just activated your phone and it's not working, the quick updates below will fix most connection problems.

Please note: To select an item, highlight it using the Navigation keys, then press the Menu/OK key.

  1. Turn off your phone by holding down the END/PWR key for a few seconds.
  2. After your phone turns off completely, wait about 30 seconds. Then turn your phone back on by holding the END/PWR key for a few seconds.
  3. Press the Menu/OK key to access the menu.
  4. Using the Navigation keys, select Settings > Others > Data Settings > Update Data Profile. The update may take a few minutes.
  5. Press the END/PWR key to return to the home screen if needed.
  6. Test your voice connection by calling 888-281-2461. You will hear a short recorded message if your phone is working properly.
  7. Sending pictures or accessing the web? You can test your data connection by pressing the Menu/OK key and selecting Web. If the CREDO web page loads, your data connection is working.

Please note: Testing your data connection uses data. If you don't have a data plan for your phone, you’ll be charged a pay-per-use data rate of $1.99/MB. Your total monthly usage is rounded up to the next full MB.
