New members on a two-year service contract get 30 days to explore their new service with CREDO Mobile before the early termination fee goes into effect. All service charges and late/damaged equipment fees will apply during the first 30 days.
We’ll help cover the costs of any early termination fee you pay your current phone company with a credit to your CREDO account of up to $350 per line switched to CREDO, for up to five lines. After you join, we’ll send you a contract buyout form. You’ll need to pay the early termination fee at your old phone company. Then simply send our form back with proof of your early termination fee and we’ll credit your CREDO account.

Yes. Simply provide us a few details about your current service, such as your account number, during checkout right before you confirm your order. When you get your new phone, activate it online (it’s easy). We’ll then transfer your number and cancel your current service. (Don’t cancel your service yourself or you’ll lose your phone number!)
If you place your order before 8 p.m. PT, you should get you phone within 2 business days. If you order after 8 p.m. PT, it should arrive within 3 business days.
The ability to transfer your contacts from another phone will vary based on your current phone. You can also transfer any contacts you have in your Google (Gmail) and Outlook accounts to any of our smartphones.
If you currently have a smartphone
You’ll be able to transfer your contacts to a new smartphone.
If you currently have a basic or messaging phone
Most basic and messaging phones can send contacts to another phone via Bluetooth. If you’re not sure if your phone can do this, we can check for you. Click Click to Chat in the upper right corner of this page (when available) or send us an email. Please include your current phone model in your message.
You can exchange your CREDO Mobile phone for another phone within 30 days of your order date. You’ll be charged a $30 restocking fee for each phone you exchange. If the new CREDO phone has a higher value, you'll also be charged the difference in price. If you’re a new customer on a two-year service contract, an exchange doesn’t extend your 30-day no-contract period.
RATES AND PHONES
We offer simple, affordable mix-and-match plans. First choose a voice plan (starting at $29.99 for individual plans and $69.99 for family plans). Once a voice plan is in your cart, you can add extras like data and insurance (if available for your phone). Data plans are by line and required for smartphones.
No. However, CREDO offers some great perks you won’t find at most mobile phone companies, like truly unlimited data and calls made from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico at no extra cost. Plus we fight for your progressive values so you can feel good about where you money is going.
- CREDO members who have completed a two-year service contract are eligible to upgrade to a new phone at new-member pricing, with a new two-year service contract.
- CREDO members on a two-year service contract can upgrade to a new phone after completing 20 months of their two-year contract for the new-member price of the phone plus a $50 early upgrade fee, with a new two-year contract.
- CREDO members on a two-year service contract who have completed less than 20 months of a two-year contract can upgrade to a new phone for the full retail price of the phone.
- CREDO Members on a ZeroNow installment plan can upgrade to a new phone after 12 months. As part of the ZeroNow early upgrade process, once you receive your new phone you’ll be required to return your current ZeroNow phone subject to the terms of the ZeroNow program.
To find out when you’re eligible for an early upgrade, sign in to Member Services, scroll down to the phone section and click check upgrade eligibility under Quick Links next to the line you’d like to upgrade. Your upgrade eligibility will appear below the links.

For calls and texts made from the U.S. to international numbers
We don't charge any long distance fees for calls made from the U.S. to Canada and Mexico—they're treated like domestic calls. Minutes will be deducted and overage charges may apply.
Rates for calls to other international numbers vary based on the country you're calling and whether you sign up for our international long distance discount plan. The discount plan is just $3.99 a month per line and offers significant savings over our standard rates. Please view our international calling page for both sets of rates.
Any text messages you send to an international number—regardless of where you are—are $0.25 each and are not included in our text messaging plans.
Calls or texts you receive from international numbers while you’re in the U.S. are treated just like domestic calls and texts.

Yes. All of our phones work in select countries (generally those in South America and Asia). If you need a global phone, all of the smartphones we currently offer (except the Samsung Galaxy S® III) are global phones that support international roaming on both GSM and CDMA networks in over 228 countries around the world. Many states and local jurisdictions apply unique taxes to wireless services. Taxes vary depending on factors like local tax rates, your billing address and the origination of your call.
