Launch of new brand underscores company’s mission of social activism and progressive giving
SAN FRANCISCO – October 31, 2007 – Working Assets today announces its mobile re-launch with a new brand that brings its mission of progressive social change to the forefront. With CREDO Mobile, Working Assets aims to expand its mobile business to a larger segment of socially conscious consumers through a mobile phone service aligned with their beliefs.

CREDO Mobile, which automatically donates a portion of customers’ charges to progressive nonprofit groups, will enable new and existing customers to take more direct action on progressive causes. Using tools such as mobile alerts and text messaging campaigns, coupled with innovative advertising and mobile marketing, CREDO Mobile members can stay on top of fast-moving and progressive issues and take action right from their phones. Since the launch of its activism programs, customers have contacted public leaders nearly 10 million times.
In addition, CREDO Mobile is encouraging people to voice their beliefs through the new CREDO Mobile web site that will go live on November 4 — http://www.whatsyourcredo.com. The site gives visitors the ability to text message and upload video to voice their hopes for the next U.S. president.
To easily support causes they care about, one percent of customers’ CREDO Mobile phone charges are automatically donated to organizations working for peace, human rights, reproductive freedom and the environment — at no extra cost. To date, parent company Working Assets has generated nearly $56 million to organizations working for a better world, including Amnesty International, ACLU, Planned Parenthood and Doctors Without Borders.
