Does your phone company play on the same team as the Koch Brothers?

The billionaire Koch brothers represent the dark side of corporate America. Koch Industries' units have stolen oil from federal lands, rigged prices with competitors, paid bribes to win contracts in six countries, sold oil equipment to Iran despite a U.S. ban, been charged with releasing tons of cancer-causing benzene into the atmosphere and have had five criminal convictions in the U.S. and Canada.¹

They also use their influence to push for laws that benefit their bottom line:

  • They've heavily funded right-wing groups like the Heritage Foundation and the Cato Institute.
  • They're the leading financiers of the Tea Party movement. David Koch founded and funded Americans for Prosperity, which has trained Tea Party activists.

Speaking of the Tea Party, the Kochs and AT&T often play on the same team:

  • AT&T and Koch Industries gave $30,000 each to House Tea Party Caucus ringleader Michele Bachmann since 2006.
  • Both funded Tea Party senators Rand Paul and Marco Rubio.
  • AT&T gave $462,739 to Tea Party-backed Gov. Rick Perry of Texas since 2000,² while David Koch and Koch Industries gave $155,000.

It's time to make the switch and join the fight against the Koch brothers. Join CREDO Mobile, America's only progressive phone company.

Through CREDO Action, our network of 2 million activists, we're countering the Tea Party agenda every day of the year. We also give a percentage of charges to progressive nonprofits each year. Since 1985, we've raised more than $70 million for groups such as the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, Earthjustice and Democracy Now.

Worried about the early termination fees charged by your current phone company? Don't be. We'll credit your CREDO account to offset those charges, up to $350 per line, for up to three lines. We call it our contract buyout credit.*
