Troubleshooting

Activation issues

If you just activated your phone and it's not working, the quick updates below will fix most connection problems.

Please note: To select an item, highlight it using the Navigation keys and then press the Menu/OK key.

  1. Turn off your phone by holding down the End/Power key for a few seconds.
  2. After your phone turns off completely, wait about 30 seconds and then turn your phone back on by holding down the End/Power key for a few seconds.
  3. Press the Menu/OK key to access the menu.
  4. Select Settings > Others > Data > Update Data Profile. The update may take a few minutes.
  5. Press the End/Power key to return to the home screen.
  6. Test your voice connection by calling 888-281-2461. You should hear a short recorded message if your phone is working properly.

Plan to send picture messages or access the web from your phone? You can test your data connection by pressing the Menu/OK key and selecting Web. If the CREDO page loads, your data connection is working. Please note: If you don't have a data plan, testing your data connection will cost a small amount of money. Data costs $1.99/MB, and your total monthly usage will be rounded up to the next full MB.
