For 25 years, ecofriendly every day.

Another of our founding principles is environmental preservation. Like you, we know this is an urgent cause now. We also know a better planet starts with individual responsibility, we've implemented green practices wherever possible in our operations.

• We were the first mobile phone company in the U.S. to join Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree® program. We offset all emissions produced in the shipping and charging of our phones over their lifetime. We also offset the carbon footprint of our corporate operations.
• We're the only phone company that prints its bills with soy-based ink on 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
• We make it easy for our members to send in their old phones for reuse or recycling. With every new handset, we include a prepaid shipping label to send in your old phone. Or you can go online to determine the value of your old phone (if any) and choose to get cash back or make a donation to the nonprofit groups CREDO is supporting this year.
• We plant 100 trees for every ton of paper we use (enough to make another ton of paper).
• We were recognized for our commitment by the Planning and Conservation League, which named us Environmental Business of the Year in 2009.
