Enjoy mobile Web-browsing, threaded text messages, voice memos, Bluetooth® wireless and easy access to apps and games. Plus, each time you use your new Samsung M330 slider phone, you’ll generate vital donations for progressive causes.
Just follow the instructions below to self-activate your CREDO Mobile phone.
- Turn on your new phone by holding down the End key (usually red) for 3 seconds.
- On your phone, go to the main menu. Select the Tools icon, press OK. Go to Activate, press OK.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your new phone. After each entry or selection, highlight Next or Done, then press OK. When you see your new phone number, write it down for future reference. On the final screen, select Done to complete your activation.
For new numbers, activation may take up to 4 hours to complete. If you are transferring a number from another carrier, this process may take up to 24 hours. If your phone still isn't working after 24 hours, please call customer service at 800.411.0848.
- To turn your phone on, press and hold the power button. Wait for the screen to light up. Now you're ready.
- Enter the 7-digit or 10-digit number you want to call.
- Your phone has a Talk key. Press it to dial your number.
- Find the key with a picture of an envelope on it. Press and hold.
- Now simply follow the prompts to:
- Create your password, a number from 4 to 10 digits.
- Record your name (you have 10 seconds).
- Record your greeting (you have 30 seconds).
To Take a Picture with the Phone Open:
- Select Menu > Pictures > Camera. (Additional camera options are available through the camera mode Options menu.)
- Using the phone's main display screen as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at your subject. Press the volume key to display the image right-side up or upside down.
- Select Capture or Menu/OK to capture the image. (The picture will automatically be saved in the In Phone folder.)
- To return to camera mode to take another picture, press the camera key.
- Select Next to continue using the following options:
- Send Msg to send the picture to up to 10 contacts at one time.
- Upload to upload the picture you just took to a picture messaging Web site.
- Assign to assign the picture as a Picture ID, Screen Saver, or Incoming Call.
- Erase to delete the picture you just took.
- Camera Mode to return to the camera to take additional pictures.
- Review Pictures to go to the My Pictures folder to review your saved pictures.
To download ringtones, screensavers, games and applications:
- From your phone’s main menu, scroll and select the My Content icon.
- Select Ringers (ringtones), Screen Savers, Games or Applications.
- Select the Get New button. Your phone’s Internet browser will launch (charges may apply for data usage) and take you to the download menu.
- Use your phone’s arrow keys to highlight and select item(s) you want to buy. Search for downloadable content you’re interested in three ways:
- Featured: Sample of most popular and most recent content.
- Categories: Groups of content, sorted by type.
- Search: Helps you browse for specific content.
- Select Buy. “Download in progress” appears. Final notification will be sent to your phone once the purchase process is complete.
- To begin using your new content right away — or continue to shop for more items — follow the prompts on your phone’s screen.
To compose an SMS Text Message:
- Select Menu > Messaging > Send Message > Text Message.
- Select Contacts, Mobile #, or E-mail and press Menu/OK.
- Enter the number, e-mail address, or select the contact, and select Next. You may include up to 10 recipients per message.
- Compose a message using one of the following methods:
- To type a message, use your keypad to enter your message. Select Options to select a character input mode.
- To use a preset message, recent message, or an emoticon, select Options and select Preset Msg, Recent Msg, or Emoticons. Press the number on the keypad that corresponds to the number next to the message or emoticon.
- Select Next.
- Review your message and select Send.
- You may also select the following additional messaging options by selecting Options:
- Edit to edit the existing message before sending.
- Priority to set the message priority level (Normal or Urgent).
- Call Back # to set the callback number.
- Delivery Rec. to set the phone to notify you when the message has been received by the recipient.
- Save to Drafts to save the message without sending.
