Listen to your favorite tunes on the go with our best music-playing handset. You’ll get fun features like external music controls, color-changing pulsating lights and the ability to listen in stereo through wired headsets or stereo Bluetooth® technology (both must be purchased separately).
You should fully charge your new phone before you begin using it. To start, slide the battery into the back of your phone and lock it in place. Then plug in your phone and charge your battery for 24 hours.
Just follow the instructions below to self-activate your CREDO Mobile phone.
- Find your 4-8 digit activation code, which was sent to you by e-mail or letter, or provided over the phone.
- Turn on your new phone by holding down the End key (usually red) for 3 seconds.
- On your phone, go to the main menu. Select the Tools icon, press OK. Go to Activate, press OK.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your new phone. After each entry or selection, highlight Next or Done, then press OK. When you see your new phone number, write it down for future reference. On the final screen, select Done to complete your activation.

For new numbers, activation may take up to 4 hours to complete. If you are transferring a number from another carrier, this process may take up to 24 hours. If your phone still isn't working after 24 hours, please call customer service at 800.411.0848.
- To turn your phone on, press and hold the power button. Wait for the screen to light up. Now you're ready.
- Enter the 7-digit or 10-digit number you want to call.
- Your phone has a ”talk“ key. Press it to dial your number.
- Press and hold the "1" key while in standby.
- Now simply follow the prompts to:
- Create your password, a number from 4 to 10 digits.
- Record your name (you have 10 seconds).
- Record your greeting (you have 30 seconds).
To download ringtones, screen savers, games and apps:
- From your phone’s main menu, scroll and select the Get Stuff icon.
- Select Ringers (ringtones), Screen Savers, Games or Applications.
- Use your phone‘s arrow keys to highlight and select item(s) you want to buy. Search for downloadable content in three ways:
- Featured: Sample of most popular and most recent content.
- Categories: Groups of content, sorted by type.
- Search: Helps you browse for specific content.
- Select Buy. “Download in progress” appears. Final notification will be sent to your phone once the purchase process is complete.
- To begin using your new content right away — or continue shopping — follow the prompts on your phone’s screen.
To Take a Picture with the Phone Open:
- Select Menu > Pictures > Camera. (Additional camera options are available through the camera mode Options menu.)
- Using the phone's main display screen as a viewfinder, aim the camera lens at your subject. Press the volume key to display the image right-side up or upside down.
- Select Capture or Menu/OK to capture the image. (The picture will automatically be saved in the In Phone folder.)
- To return to camera mode to take another picture, press the camera key.
- Press Options to continue using the following options:
- Take New Picture to take another picture.
- Send Media to send your picture.
- Upload to upload the picture you just took to a picture messaging Web site.
- Delete to delete the picture you just took.
- Review Media to review your photos.
- Send via Bluetooth to send the picture via Bluetooth.
- Print via Bluetooth to print the picture via Bluetooth.
- Details / Edit to edit or display details about your pictures.
To compose an SMS Text Message:
- Select Menu > Messaging > Send Message > Text Message.
- Select Contacts, Mobile #, or E-mail and press Menu/OK.
- Enter the number, e-mail address, or select the contact, and select Next. You may include up to 10 recipients per message.
- Compose a message using one of the following methods:
- To type a message, use your keypad to enter your message. Select Options to select a character input mode.
- To use a preset message, recent message, or an emoticon, select Options and select Preset Msg, Recent Msg, or Emoticons. Press the number on the keypad that corresponds to the number next to the message or emoticon.
- Select Next.
- Review your message and select Send.
- You may also select the following additional messaging options by selecting Options:
- Edit to edit the existing message before sending.
- Priority to set the message priority level (Normal or Urgent).
- Call Back # to set the callback number.
- Delivery Rec. to set the phone to notify you when the message has been received by the recipient.
- Save to Drafts to save the message without sending.
